1977 CB750 Bobber project
« on: October 02, 2017, 08:59:01 AM »
Looking for some information on where to hide my electrical.  I have a voodoo cycles hardtail on order and i am prepping the bike to get it ready for the build. I have never tried to relocate the electrical systems and wiring before.  Ideas would be great thanks.

“Some” find using the MotoGadget m-unit is a great solution for this. It costs about $300, but it does allow a smaller, slimmer wiring solution. And you can move nearly everything from your headlight bucket to a small hiding place.

Is the back of the frame stretched
On Amen frame the electrical all went into a box that hung under the oil tank. One side came off to access everything.

The frame I am get is from voodoo cycles.  Are you saying oil tank on top then electrical box underneath.  I was kind of hoping to keep that area open except for the oil tank.

Thanks.  Just organizing materials.  Wanting to pull it off at a reasonable price.  My theory on these bikes is they will always be worth less then what you spend on them.

That theory is disproved when you calculate the smiles-per-mile formula.  ;)

Build to keep and enjoy, not to sell, and you won't have this problem.
