....almost 500.00 for the kit. :o It must be springs, retainers, shims. I wonder if it comes with new keepers? I never liked R/D to tell the truth. http://www.rdvalvespring.com/honda.html

...add another $475 for new valves and guides and $250 for the Megacycle stick and you might get a pretty decent stock motor, eh?

I swear Wiseco offered a 836 kit specifically for the F2 but stopped listing them 6 years back. If I could find one of those piston kits I would be tempted to build such a motor just to be...well,errrr...stupid, I guess ??? ;) :D

More like $275 for new valves and guides.

Those Wisecos were nice as they would make 12:1s in a K motor. Just not enough people bought them to make it worth it for them.

They would do a production run of 50 pcs if there was any interest.

I've only seen the F2 valves at Dynoman. They were going for $369 a set. Where do you get'em cheaper?

Big Jay,

Whats the chances of you stocking a few more high performance parts at APE like the F2/F3 bore kits, 900 kits, and I'm sure there's much more that others could think of etc?? Like you say they will do runs of 50. I understand the business end of it and having $$ tied up in inventory sitting on your shelf , not getting the turns you'd like, etc but I doubt anyone would mind if we all advertised for you and utilized your services by sending our business your way. Or perhaps a minor APE sponsorship like we see above to keep the establishment from getting upset about commercialism. Of course this would get you more business like cylinder boring, cylinder liners, heavy duty cylinder studs, crank shaft lightening and polishing, Carrillo rods for cheap, cams, springs, retainers, head work, etc. Did I leave much out? After all, you are one of us and you support all that is SOHC4. We all stick together and support one another.

Jerry

ps I hope to have my crank to you within this next month for lightening and balancing plus installation of a set of Carrillo rods. I'll do my part!

Some 915 kits with the XA ring set would be nice. That's about as big as you can go and keep the stock cylinders. It also makes for a healthy increase in torque and HP. I have the dimensions for the sleeves as I know Jay does. There are a lot of parts available for the CB out there (except for piston kits)....it would be nice to see the 915 kits as they do work well.
