Apparently it's taking 5 undertakers to get him in his casket. Four to sit on the lid while the fifth tightens the screws.

Earliest Playboy mag memory?   Grandpas woodworking shop.
Us cousins had free reign to build anything we wanted as long as we kept our fingers intact.
The wood box under the workbench was where the stash was.  I can vaguely recall that musty paper smell.
Years later we agreed he knew we knew where they he kept them  ;D

Actually heard a news guy in covering his death say something regarding his passing when people refer to them as having gone to heaven or someplace else...  He made a comment about no so sure he would be going to heaven.

There were articles?!

In it's heyday [1970's] subscription was 7,000,000 a month.
He made a fortune but I've heard most of it was gone by the time of his death.  The mansion was sold last year, he was paying $1M/year rent.

Depending on what his religious preference was there might not be 72 virgins left for anyone else. Just saying.  ::)

Achmed the Dead Terrorist had a line about the "72 virgins" that Jeff Dunham retorted to Achmed, no one said they were all going to be female...which was met with eyes wide open, eyebrows raised, slack jaw expression by Achmed.  Was quite funny.  Likely to be in one or more of the many of his skits on YouTube.

I heard he sold it and retained a life estate -- meaning he was in possession until death, when possession passed to the purchaser.  (As opposed to a lease.)

The magazine ownership/management went to his daughter years ago. I believe she was a huge force into their wide expansions in online  and I had read she made several changes after taking ownership.

Pornhub will never become the fashion brand that playboy is.
That bunny logo has found its way onto anything!  Even that cb750 chopper that was shared here 😂

According to real estate tracking site Curbed, public records show that the $100 million sales price makes it the most expensive home ever sold in Los Angeles County"

I read it on the internet, it must be true!

For being a free-wheeling playboy, he sure was EXTREMELY possessive about his "girlfriends."
