Newb from Nebraska
« on: October 08, 2017, 12:56:22 PM »
Hey all. Just picked up a 1978 CB750K non-runner project this week. I'm in the end stages of a cafe build on an '81 Yamaha XS1100 that was a learning experience, now I'm planning on doing a more thorough build/revival with the cb750. I'm still figuring out exactly what I want to do with it but its going to be rather slow project since I'm in my second year of vet school and money is always tight.

First pic is the bike when I picked it up - last time it was licensed was 2007. The guy was given the bike from a buddy and got it running supposedly then broke the clutch cable and decided to let it sit for 3-5 years.

Second pic is the tank right now - doing some electrolysis rust removal.
