Picked up my first CB this weekend. Going to be my winter home project for days off and any other time in between. It’s a 1978 550 with “5,xxx” miles. Tank is rusted out and carbs need a rebuild but hoping to get it running over the winter. Pretty much all original minus a Lester mag up front. Still not sure if I will keep the mag or ditch it for an easier to find front wheel. Seems the rear Lester’s are difficult to come by and none seem to be in the condition i desire. Will be posting more as I get into this build. Here’s a few shots from when I got the bike home.
