Hello from East TEXAS...
« on: October 12, 2017, 06:58:07 AM »
I love motorcycles !  Been riding for over 50 years.  I have 5 bike in the garage (one with a side hack); touring, dual sport, and cruisers.  Just bought my 2nd Honda CB750 two days ago.  My 1st one was a '77 Super Sport that I owned from 1985 till 1990.  Bikes were cheap then.  Think I sold it for $750, and it was in great condition.  The 1974 K4 that I purchased the other day runs okay, sounds great, and looks good from 20 feet away.  I was fortunate to find it only 95 miles from where I live.  Paid more than I wanted too, but probably saved a lot by avoiding shipping, etc. should I have gone shopping for another in the same condition.

I'm excited to own a bike like the CB750 after so many years.  After I have a chance to ride it a little bit more and sort out what I think it needs, I'll start a rebuild thread (hopefully, with pictures) to show my progress.  I expect to also learn a lot from this forum and the fine folks that are enjoying their CBs and contributing experience and wisdom.

Thanks, Bud...

Starting the Rebuild Thread Today December 31, 2017.
