Hello from brisbane Australia
« on: January 15, 2007, 03:54:36 AM »
hiya[/color] I'm here to ramble on with the best of them until i understand how to fix a bike and in doing so become very impressive to my peers...is it politically correct for a female who no longer owns a bike but loves them to join ?
Just pretend you know what im talking about when i post so I dont stand out in the crowd, and appear very inept. Great forum and neat posts, I enjoy reading them.

Welcome.

You won't appear any more inept than we all occasionally do at times.

Read up and get yourself a bike you will be all set.

Well thank you for the welcome kghost...yes I intend to get another bike and I intend to learn how to fix it....and I am watching this site for tips...and a better understanding....I just hope the fact I wear a bra does not detract from my abilities to learn something new. ;D...

I wouldn't worry about that. Doesn't seem to affect most of these guys' abilities (your secret's out mrbreeze  :o ;D ;D ;D ).

welcome aboard-
i dont think your femaleness will be a handicap here- we try very hard not to scare away the few fairer sexxed members we manage to attract (meant on the forum, but i guess it applies to life.)
a bike is not a requisite, but it helps explain all the time you spend here.   and once you are a woman who rides and wrenches it will be all over- you will be too cool for us.
