Cb750 carb Fotment issues.
« on: October 31, 2017, 11:38:23 AM »
Just picked up new intake boots for this thing and the carbs won't fit back on correctly. Seems like they are angled up too high and the choke cable perch won't fit. Any ideas on this?  They are the older style carbs I beleive similar to the cb550.

Check the new against the old ones.  The angles and lengths should be the same.  Some aftermarket boots don't quite fit properly.  Also, it takes some tweaking to get them fitted properly.  They may have 1 marked on one side and 4 on the opposite side and the same with 2-3.  The number facing up should match the cylinder number.
