There are many levels of builders, many models of SOHC bikes, and many styles of builds.  Most months there are not enough entries to field multiple categories.  A few builds are just on another orbit of skill and resources, like Eric's CR.

I agree Don and on those grounds, I'm thinking that idea I had would struggle to work.

Congratulations to Eric as winner of the November 2017 Bike of the Month.  Kudos also to Scott S on a very deserving bike.

OK Don, I've had a re think and come up with an idea that might work If people put their trust in us to sort things out.
I'll start a new thread out, outlining my Idea and see where it goes from there.

Scott, don't feel put down by this months result, your bike was well and I mean well and truly worthy of being in the competition, it was just sad that you had to come up against the bike of the century in Eric's bike and had Don not nominated it, it was to be my choice as well.

Congratulations to both of you.

Wow, I'm glad that neither of my BOTM bikes came up against Eric's bike! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
