I live in Denmark
I ride a 1978 CB750 F2 super sport.

Have just taken the engine apart and found a piston defect
Now looking for info on what would be the best way forward

hei.
.nice ve have a other viking..on forum..sav you need some sleeves too..on the Danish forum..but no problem ..this is the place to find and learn all ..

often overbore is the vay ahead..but go for some good pistons,,and then bore to fit them pistons is far less costy..often those piston kits is the best vay..on so old bikes..stock parts is drying aut...
let us see some Photos as soom you can post them(5 posts is the vay to open for them)

Just a litle more info
I have ovened the bike for 6 years. I have only used it for small rides in town and one 300km trip a year.
It has always used a little to mutch oil. On this years 300km trip it began to develop a noice from the eingne.
I have no history on the bike. But here is what I do know
It has the F2 head and cylinder, but the block is gray and from an older model.
The cylinder bore is 65mm
One piston is broken.
