Awesome craigslist find. Just proof that good stuff is still out there. You definitely got your ducks in a row on this build. My next build will be something like this. I'll be watching how yours turns out for sure.

I didn't have a chance to work on it all summer but its back up on the lift and ready to be wired. I got it outside for some pictures this summer.

Hello lxcoupe89, nice to see that you have your hands on the bike again. I think the Hallcraft Satelites will give the bike a nice early 80th touch.

Yes I'm finally back to work on it again, making some progress the last few weeks

Back to working on the Honda chopper again, Finally got the bike wired up, now I'm working on getting the fuel to it. It took a couple weeks to get the bike wired. I still need to make foot pegs and a battery box.

I found out that the Bowl drain nipples hit the Santee box, I'm going to use the nipples to check the gas level in the bowls using the clear tubing, then I'll cut the nipples off for clearance. I also realized that there aren't any extended throttle cables available for 77-78 carbs so I'm going to have to make my own throttle cable. I'm planning to buy the stuff from Flanders.

I really want to keep this thing as clean as possible and now I'm trying to figure out how to actuate the choke on the carb and not use a Choke Cable. I appreciate any advice you can give to help solve that problem.

I got a 78 F with that electric box, looks like they cut and plugged the drains on it !
Cut down the choke cable and mou t it by your oil tank of electric box.

Or easier, go to earlier carbs, solve 2 problems..

Thanks for the info, I guess i'll get a cable for now, maybe i'll try to come up with something cleaner for the choke later on.

Iam suspecting that they could be tapped maybe to 1/16 NPTm and maybe you could put 90 degree hoses barbs on..
I do know they are used on nitrous nozzles, its where I got the idea.,

I'll check into it, I was wondering if there were any elbows that may fit. The biggest thing is that if I plug them I lose the overflow drain so if the bowl needle sticks the gas could fill the motor. The bowl vent may be low enough as a drain, not sure.

It look like the charging regulator will become rather hot and in that case not good to have wires on top of it in that closed box.
I should have that regulator outside with the fins aimed so the wind will cool it while driving. Fins aimed from front to back of the bike for best cooling.

I am planning to keep an eye on it to see how hot stuff gets in there. Thanks for the advice.
