Years ago in [ KZ1000 TIME ] we the Columbus, Ohio crew race that track when car events had our home track for a weekend, at the end of track you ran up a hill and made a left turn, cars and bikes ran together ..... now a days this track has a new face lift and I will bring the "TURTLE" and my crew to the 42. Thanks Dave [MAN CUP ] for bringing a bike event back to OHIO like the Old DAYZ of the IDBA.

My home life is going to be happy that weekend, but the racer in me will be miserable. They plan to run super eliminator at that event and I'll miss it. Did I say I love my wife?? Balance!!!!

Wow, how I wish, 400 odd each way, haha.
My shortest journey to race Man Cup was 8,200 miles and the longest when at VMP and Bradenton was 9,000 round trip.

Ha ha, ok Frank, you asked for it! I've only been to 25 tracks or so, and not too many down south, but there are a few differences that I've noticed. Up in the northwoods, snowmobiles at the dragstrip are a big thing, and we like to dragrace on the frozen lakes.   What we don't have is a bass boat parade during the National Anthem ( complete with the trophy queen waving to the crowd wearing bib overalls!) and hog calling contests during oildowns. Come on, you just know that must have happened at George Rays (RIP) Wildcat Dragstrip!

Now the Man Cup Racers will get to see = " GOT BRUCE " bikes we up North have been racing against for many years. = Fishers, Cowboy BOB, Adams boys w/dad, maybe a Kenny Schwartz T/G, may, be a Jerry Hurley, and if BIG SMILE CHAD breaks out his old 750 Hondamatic and brings it back to OHIO [ he won a lot in this state ] he would bring pass history to a all bike event. Who else had a $10,000 1/4 MILE RACE pay out by by FAST GAS bracket race winner take all...... BACK IN THE DAY.  Thank you MAN CUP.

  I'm working hard at it, trying to get it done in time. The cold temps help keep me in the garage working on it. I don't have the nerves of steel, like Bill, to be wrenching up to the last minute though. I'll be plenty green, so if anyone wants an easy round win!?

Well, this is news to me since my wife is the main host of  the reunion and she's drafted me as her assistant. Maybe she forgot to tell me about the change of venue. Lol.

It would  be nice to finally get a large contingent of SOHC bikes in attendance. Unfortunately, this racer will not be able to make the event. You fellas enjoy yourselves and post lots of pictures with your daily results.

Underdog, we all have to start somewhere. The good thing is you'll have the bike ready and tested. It won't be long before you'll start to turn on the win light.

This event will include the super eliminator class. In addition to the sportsman index classes and the pro classes, they will also have street ET and a pro ET class. Our bike should fit into any of those 3 classes so no excuse guys.
