Topic: CB500 Neutral Light Not Working

My CB500 K0 neutral light is not lighting up at all.  From browsing Ebay it sounds like this is a common problem for this model.
If so, is there a common solution I could try before doing the entire drill from checking the light bulb down?
BTW I would have searched the forum but the search function does not work for me.

'the entire drill'... are you serious? There's a lamp, there's a switch and there's a wire. How much work can that be? Have you done the easiest yet: to see if the little bulb is still good?

Yes, it was simple.  A wire had come off of its terminal.

it works!!!!!   Now I have 34 pages to read up on the BEST oil to use!!!
