I bought a new cylinder for my 73 750K, the new cylinder has 8 dowels with a rubber sleeve/seal that is used on top , my old cylinder which I was told was an early model does not use these dowels or seals. The seals stick above the top of the cylinder when installed. My question is how I should handle this, trim the seal? top or Bottom.
