1975 Honda CB750F Rear Brake Squeal
« on: October 08, 2018, 02:31:04 PM »
Rear brake squealing, sounds like metal-to-metal.  Disassembled the caliper and discovered the pad setting spring was actually between the two caliper pads and contacting the rotor rim.  Any suggestions on how this happened?   Finding a replacement spring and want to correct any assembly error.

After more research, it appears the spring pad was upside down, causing it to contact the rotor.
