Hi there!

I've lurked here since I bought my bike this summer, but just got around to register now.

I'm a 28 year old guy from Sweden who's looking to salvage a CB500 -73 that I found disassembled in boxes, and by the looks of it it seems to have been put away like that for a number of years.

My background is in motocross, which I raced when I was younger. My only experience with street bikes is that I rebuilt an Aprilia RS 125 that I found with a blown engine when I was about 18. Also my dad has always had his bike.

The plan now is to salvage what I can, which doesn't seem to be much, and rebuild it with some tweaks that I find appropriate. I will try my best to keep the classic look, but I will have no regrets doing mods to this bike since it was basically trash when I found it.

That's it for now. Regards from Sweden!
