77 cb750 PD41 carb jet needle on PD41 carb
« on: November 04, 2017, 01:47:17 PM »
Bought kits for my PD 41 on my 77 CB750k from vintage cb750.com. The jet needle that came in the kit has the number Y41 stamped on it. The needles removed from the carbs are stamped F2D51E .I assume they are original as this the needle  that the shop manual specs. Although they appear to be the same length their is less taper on the point of needle. Don't know if  overall taper is the same or not. Any info on this is appreciated. I can't find any specs on the web for of these needles ant can't find  anyone who sells the originals. Will the Y41 work? Help!

Are the originals damaged?
Why not use them?
Have you changed the exhaust and intake ducts?
