Spark plugs for a 76 cb750a
« on: November 06, 2017, 12:29:49 PM »
Have a 76 cb750a all stock. The official honda manual on this site says to use d8es-L plugs. This is for 76 and 77. For 78 it says to use d8ea plugs. Is it ok to use the d8ea plugs in my 76. Thanks.

Yes they will work fine.  Although they have a slightly colder ideal heat range.

They will run better after engine arm up.  Cold operation could be a bit stumbly.  If you are operating in cold environments, you might prefer D7EA.
