What are you listening to tonight? (YouTube link?)
« on: November 08, 2017, 06:26:33 PM »
I would start, but I'm 17 degrees of separation into YouTube right now. Add in Pandora, my own personal vinyl/CD collection and Sirius satellite radio and I'm from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Post up a link. Bonus points if the band actually plays instruments. I once heard "it's not a real song if you can't play it on guitar or piano".

I'll wait for someone else to start before posting my schizophrenic selections.

Listening to this on vinyl tonight.  When it's cold and raining, nothing beats Monk.

Power pop master and member of The SpongeTones, Jamie Hoover's Paparazzi disc with Bill Lloyd.  (I also listen to a wide range of music, but into power pop at the moment.)

I'd written them off a long long time ago after hearing State of Euphoria.  After picking up Persistence of Time and Worship Music I've changed my tune (so to speak).

fav local band when I was 15, this album has become a serious cult classic/ deep cuts legend now.  Still sounds wayy better than many much more famous bands that tried this later.
If it works good, it looks good...

I got a taste of zydeco once, just found this and rather like it..
Search Toot Toot by Fogerty on YouTube. . It's posted by fendercustom1953 and the writer is playing accordian.
The Royal Albert Hall version by Fogerty is pretty good too..

I'd give my left nut to be able to play like  and FEEL what he's feeling. Just saying.

That, and Jimmy Page, circa '73-75, minus the horrible heroin addiction.
