No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
If you love it, set it free, if it stays it's probably one of my 750's.

Tony Bennett was the person featured in a Paul Harvey's rest of the story. His brother was a child musical prodigy but he was forced to perform excessively and ultimately rebelled and refused to perform. Tony was their second choice.

Me I'm listening to war music "The Black Watch" I don't know whether to fight or cry, to fight the pipes do stir the blood to cry because I'll never do it again but it reaffirms if you gotta march the best is behind a good pipe band, the rest don't cut it.

You really won't be hearing what you might expect if you give this a listen.

I was never that into Judas Priest back in the day but always liked "The Ripper" on the "Unleashed in the East" live album. I found this on YouTube the other week and actually, i think it's better. Just goes to show that somethings do improve with age. Rob Halford absolutely nails the vocals and Glenn and KK's guitars are brilliant.

This version by Bonnie Raitt and Lowell George is really nice, too. A bit of banter at the beginning, but that's part of the charm IMO.

I was always partial to Linda Ronstadt's cover of Lowell George's Willin'. BTW, I knew Bill Payne's younger brother; heard he had died from an overdose 20 years ago..
