I've been watching this one with interest, since a RC30 would be a lottery bike for me.

RC30s go for £8k - £10k on eBay UK, I don't think he'll get £12k, even for one with such a lo mileage.

You never know with eBay though...

Watched a 1968 Suzuki 500 bring $10,200 last week on ebay. Guess all it takes is 2 people who want it.

GB,

Just curious, was it a T500 Cobra?  Got a link to the auction?

Thanks,

Yes it was. Sorry, I deleted it. But there is a 1971 500 (item #140070303074) that is at $4700 with 10 minutes to go.

Gersh : What a sweet setup! Have had 2 sidecar rigs. Do you have any steering damper or rake changes?

GB,

The bike is not running right now, the PO did a really nice cosmetic resto, put on the sidecar and I bought it from there.  The carbs need to be gone through, but everything works.  I have to put on new rubber as well.  The bike was obviously not set up to be a rig, but one I get it running correctly, I will re-attach the car correctly and see how it rides.  The one time I drove with the rig, the bike pulled heavily to the left, so the car was definitely not aligned correctly.  It will be a fun project.....

Good luck with the 500T, I always liked those, especially with the brown seat - definitely different!  Keep us posted on your progress.

Warm regards,

Gersh
