FYI - Jay replied.  Not unless there's an order for 25 sets.  I can understand that they do not want to make that level of run that makes financial sense unless they know they can sell them.  So if everyone wants to pool into a group buy.  . . .

I doubt that would be worth the money, unless you were planning on going over 70hp.  The rods are plenty stout for the 550 power levels.  I talked with an old guy that used to race a 550 at the drags, believe it or not, and he was running the stockers on a turbo setup.  IIRC he said he'd had them peened, but that was it.

I dont do that on my turbo (9000 max and most of times 8000 rpm) so thats why my stock f1 rods are fine for my 120-130hp.

Ilja, I was responding to the comment about a 550's rods.  If we're talking 750s with power adders, I can't really comment on those.
