Good day all !

I was swapping over the hose from my old set of carbs to my fresher ebay set and noticed the T that connects the #1 and #2 carb and the t that connects the #3 and #4 carb to the fuel line hose are rotted apart.

I called Honda and they are 29.10 each.

Is there something else that works ? Something from say an auto parts store that costs 10 bucks would be grand.

And yes I am a dreamer.

 ;D

You guys would know if there is something that will work. If not I will bite the bullet and go pay 60 bucks for the pair.

And they are two different part numbers (16036-460-771 and 16047-460-771) which is weird because they look exactly the same.

Any insight would be appreciated. And I know you know or at least you would know if anyone would know !.

The carbs are of the CV type.

Thanks for reading.

 ???

The difference (i.e. part number) may simply be a different length, one longer to reach the carb bank farthest from the petcock. Just guessing.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

oh no, this thread is so old and I am now faced with this huge $60+ price tag on this item which now is apparently non existent in the internet connected universe.  What have you guys been doing for this part since 05' lol? spend a few hours at Home depot and ace hardware?  Any tips?

thanks, but aside from searching "redneck" and "three-way" as they're described by honda, which yielded not results, I don't know what else I should search.  Might you remember any particular terms for this thread? I'll keep trying...

I'm seeing PN 16036-460-771 as still available from Honda.

If I needed to replace this part I'd buy it from Honda and thank them for still stocking it after 35 years.  :)
Yeah, it sucks but it will work better than improvising and you'll only have to do it once.
