Should the valves be set at cold spec or 0 when degree-ing a stock factory Honda camshaft?

Zero lash when degreeing.

MRieck recommends running lash. That's what I did. Manufacturer recommends zero lash as it should say on your card. If you do running lash, be sure to subtract the running lash from the valve lift measurement. Like if the card says check the wheel at .040" and your running lash is .005". Your new lift measurement is .035"

Do both, 0 lash to measure the cam and compare with cam data. Running lash to adjust the reality.
