I had to meet my wife at a local shopping center after work one day, afterwards on my way out I spotted her car in the parking lot so I hopped in and parked it in a different spot.

Our kids were with her and I told them of my plans and to also make sure their mom didn't absolutely freak out. It turned out she immediately  knew I had something to do with it when her car wasn't where she parked it. Come to think of it our couch is pretty comfortable.

We had a guy at a place I worked in the summer years back that reported his car stolen after an evening at the bar.
The only problem was his car had a soil densometer with a small amount of Americium and is monitored by the NRC.
That was not a good day for him when he finally found the car after sobering up.

I did that once also. Then when she came out and finally found her car, I kept hitting the remote to lock the doors on her. She thought there was something wrong w/ her remote keyless entry fob.

Now your not gunna believe this Kev, but that reminds me of an "Irish Joke." ;D ;D ;D ;D

An Irishman is struggling to find a parking space.

"Lord," he prayed. "I can't stand this. If you open a space up for me, I swear I'll give up the Guinness and go to mass every Sunday."

Suddenly, the clouds part and the sun shines on an empty parking spot. Without hesitation, the Irishman says: "Never mind, I found one!"

Cheers,
Brian ;)

One of my plumbers came in a few minutes late, said his MIL has dementia, she hated him for 30 years but now she forgot she hates him. Anyway she set the couch on fire while smoking. They took her smokes away and two days later she didn't know she ever smoked.
Good thing they get her car away in time. This guy must have just been drunk.

A elderly lady lived 3 blocks from the grocery store behind me.  Once a week she would drive over and do her shopping.  She would then walk home and later call the police and report her car stolen. It got to a point the cops would check the parking lot first and sure enough her car was there.  It went on for a while till her family convinced her to quit driving.

over 20 years ago I was a cable tv installer,i heard about an old bloke who had a ridiculous amount of service calls as he couldn't figure out how to select the proper channel to view his cable box, anyway a supervisor went out there and the old bloke has dementia,so the supervisor tunes every tv channel to the cable box rf output and every av selection to it.

My mom is in her late 80's and her short term memory is fading fast. She recently had to be escorted off an elevator, she kept riding the elevator up and down from 1st to top floor and not getting off because she couldn't remember what floor she was supposed to get off on, this wasn't in a building she was unfamiliar with either.

Ha ha, my poor old Dad had dementia for the last couple of years of his life. Before he eventually went into a nursing home he admitted to me that he'd driven up the full length of our main street on the wrong side of the road, and told me not to tell mum. I told mum right away.

We had a talk to him about it, and he said to my mum, "Bloody hell woman, I've been driving for 30 years!" And I said, "No Dad, I've been driving for 30 years", so he said, "Sh1t, well how long have I been driving?" When I explained that he'd probably been driving for close to 60 years, he sort of accepted that it was about time he handed in his keys.

My mum still drives at 89, but she's still got all her marbles, she's just finished another semester of an online university course, still lives at home, and will probably outlive me. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Australian folk really crack me up. An absolutely spot on mixture of cynicism, optimism, honesty and a wee bit of excessive alcohol consumption.

What in the freak have I done, languishing in the south of France for 14 years when I could have been in Darwin or Melbourne or the other city whose name I can't quite remember.

Well, New Year resolution N°1, get the flock out of here . .
