Wes Cooley visits British Columbia Aug 2017
« on: November 22, 2017, 11:35:31 PM »
Here is a few pics of WC when he came up for Vintage in the Valley in Chilliwack B.C. Aug19 or so.
One pic he is at a table with a bunch of the guys from the BCClassic Motorcycle Club.
I think how it all came about was when TrevorF met him while at the Quail show.

Funny thing about this "Wes Cooley Replica". That blue (also red) and white GS1000S was introduced before Wes Cooley won the championship. I think even before he started riding a Suzuki. Suzuki never officially dubbed it "Wes Cooley Replica." I don't know who came up with the moniker.

I got to meet Wes Cooley at last year's Corsa Moto Classico at Willow Springs.  The guy was so nice and humble.

Dog, a little off topic but...I am working on an '87 GSXR 750 right now.  Can you suggest a good forum?  This thing is full of mysteries.

The GSXR is newer than anything I have, I know there are quite a few GSXR forums out there, here's a few to try:

They have a strong following, good luck with the bike.

oops, should have typed '86, not '87...not that it really makes much difference.  Thanks for the links.
