Carb lifting arm assy
« on: November 24, 2017, 03:17:57 AM »
On the later K's, when they moved the fuel tap to the LHS did they still peg the shaft, see photos?

The place where the peg would normally go is blanked off, looks to be original production and the shaft is free, or did they find that it was unnecessary and that the arm assy found it own natural position and no longer neeed pegging?

Looks like its got a peg to me. Maybe they managed To shear it off without braking the bracket.?
Make sure you don't lose the spacers when you bolt the parts back on the shaft.

I haven't used these carbs yet, but after drilling out the original pin I decided to use washers as shown instead, leaving slight side play. This holds the rail in the correct location
