Same here!!

My bikes have been stuck in the garage just like yours, Heff. :'(  What's worse is that I'm in the middle of the block, so even if I shovel off the driveway, there's still half a block of iced over alley to navigate before getting to the street.

I rode Saturday. It was around 50 deg. and cloudy. I rode about 50 miles out into the country. I was going to go farther but my legs were starting to get numb.  ::) ;D ;D

I went out Saturday, it was 50 degrees. Today it cleared off but the mountain roads stay
wet longer than flat land roads )north side of the hill thing(  so I worked on the Lancia exhaust
and hauled the backhoe to the new site and generally took it easy but didn't ride. I wish I had now :(

Just got back in. About 45 deg going down the country road and wasn't a bad 30 mile ride. But felt good to get back in a warm house.

You guys suck it's 21 degrees 30 mph winds out of the north with a wind chill of -5. So all I can do is read about how some of you got it so good.

Just got back, its 66 degrees here and I also did 30 miles. Beautiful day but winds a little gusty at 18mph [cold front coming in].

The Z is running great!

The Z1 Kaw is another bike on my list I would like to own Stev-o. But these are far a few between and the ones you run across that are in fair to decent shape and need a little work are generally high $$. You were at the right place and time on yours Steve. Do you even want to ride the 750's after riding the Z.

They are out there, DHall, you just need to search. This one came from S. Carolina, I found it on one of my daily searches [like we all do, right?!]. It wasnt cheap, but the engine was mechanically sound and just needed tires, brakes, oil, etc and some TLC. Next is stock paint scheme for the '75.
I'd like for you to ride it, it may give you thoughts of selling your HD....ha!
I still do like riding my 750's as well as my CB550, Yammie RD350 and even my little Suzi TS250, it's fun to ride different bikes!

Went hiking with the girl during the day, but then bounced out in the evening to see my folks who were staying at my brother's place. Not far- maybe 2.5 miles on the freeway to get there, but I left the house about 8:00 and headed back about 10:30, so it was probably in the mid-30s and crystal clear heading back. And of course with all the nice weather, your truly got stir crazy and pulled the hideous Slipstreamer off the bike just a few days ago, so I got the full blast.

Hell of a ride, though. Even just a couple of minutes is an amazing thing.

Yeah, at certain temperature the air feels like ice cold water.

Yeah, at certain temperature the air feels like ice cold water.

Or hot water. My cold weather jacket has a high collar, and with the slipstreamer that's been enough to keep my neck warm. With the fairing off, there's this icy backdraft up the bottom of my helmet. It was so cold, it felt like someone was pouring boiling water over the underside of my jaw.

The rest of me was fine, though.
