And the real plus is she probably has a magic wand to help undo rusted bolts and cheese head screws.

I think that's great!  Kids should have as much "hands on" as possible during development .

In CA, US,  you'd be charged with child endangerment.  No gloves, face sheild, protective coveralls, steel toe shoes, or vapor face mask.  You know, all the fun limiting "safety" precautions.

Basically, its obvious you clearly don't have government certification and authority to abrogate the child labor laws.

But, I have to ask, do you work along side her wearing pink?   ;D

My daughter was always intrigued by my wrenching on bikes and cars. She'd "help" too. As she got old enough for her first car she didn't hesitate to start minor disassembling. She had the factory radio out the first day. I had to slow her down some times. I believe it taught her some common sense and mechanical logic that many girls don't get exposed to.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I have always encouraged my kids when they were young when the wanted to "help" on my cars. It is a life learning experience for them.

I remember one time while on a creeper under my truck when out of nowhere my son, about 4 at the time, came rolling in right next to me laying on his skateboard. Gotta love it!

You ever see the "application to date my daughter" form?  It is a first line of defense if you can get your daughter to agree to the principles early...

Wait 'til she says "I want to learn to ride".  Very satisfying teaching your daughter to ride, but very "heart in the mouth" when you're out riding with them!

My daughter helped me for many years when she was growing up. Most of the time she did not have the strength to move too many bolts.
When she bought her own car and had a flat while out with some boy, she was the one whom told him how to change her flat tire as he had no clue.
