76 cb750f rear fender
« on: November 29, 2017, 04:23:30 AM »
I've been searching for a replacement for my rear fender because I think it's ugly. I've seen that the same models have a different and shorter version that basically works as a license plate bracket that is more appealing to meI don't see it on any diagrams or parts list.
Anyone here have a close up picture or one for sale?

The US 75/76 F did have a different version. It was not a license plate bracket however and it did not protrude like your's. It is part of the "stash" box and ends there. The license plate acts as the rear fender. Our 77/78 F had one like your's. The chrome rails contain the license plate bracket.

Thanks! I did some more research and found out my bike is a German version that has the extra chrome fender. I see that the previous owner mounted the turn signals where the license plate should be. I guess I'll just remove the fender and fix everything up like the US version and see how it looks.

Few other differences too like the turn signals in case you may be interested since you're going to have to get turn signals. Plus they mount off the chrome hand rail below the 6mm bolt that goes into the stash box (at least on the US models). The F2/F3 grab rail and license plate mount is different than on out F/F1. Not sure which your's is?

Mine is the F1 but the mounts for the turn signals have been cut off. I've gotten a hold of a US headlight rack which will take the larger Stanley turn signals for the front.

Closer to you  ;)

F1/F2 in England. Can't say for sure if it matches the/which US model without doing a part number comparison. The tail light/license plate mount may be different as they are for the US F0/F1 and F2/F3
