It was amazing,  mind boggling.  Best one yet. Really looking forward to 2018. Frank lowered the ET record to 10.48! Way to go Frank. The bonus is $2K, not $2500.00. POP'S,  you nailed it. I was talking with Steve (Larry McBride 's brother and tuner right before the record run.  Really good people those two), also got to chat with Sam Wills crew chief Delvin, Sams having surgery over the winter, bikes being sold....maybe to Niki Zac! Talked with Ian rt before his final, we hope not,  run, got pics also! Next year should be the best for Man Cup,  me and other 750 riders and bikes,  lots in the works! Was great to see everyone.  Cut some decent lights and 60fts, about it for my highlights, did win Rd 1 both days. Lol.

It was awesome that Bill Hahn Jr gave me a mention at 2h 47m 20s.
It had me crying like a baby, 4,000 miles away in England, thanks for organizing it guys.

The wife wasn't able to get down the track this weekend. Her bike uncharacteristically cut off in the waterbox. An attempt at a restart showed signs of difficulty in spinning over so we aborted the pass and rolled it back to the pit area. I made a decision to park this one for the weekend and sort it out in the shop. I always try to be cautious at the first sign of problems and not create a bigger situation by ignoring the signs.

So far after pulling the head off I don't see anything obvious. The cams appeared to be in time.  No witness marks on the pistons. The bottom end rotates freely. Hmmm. Time to get something to eat and come back for a view from a different angle.

A nice shot of the F model launching at the last Cup race. The best part of this photo is the wife standing behind me supporting me in my crazy habit.
