yeah i thought shipping for the exhaust was damn good.  i found a bunch of turn signals in better shape than mine but the shipping was $20 for a $10 item.

Hey thanks @evinrude7 I grabbed it!

Really wanted to jump on Delkevic's Black Friday sale, but 10% off was not quite enough to get me to cough up $300 right now. This deal on the other hand? Too good to pass up. I wanted the short straight pipe, but for over $50 less than the cost of the header alone I'm OK with the megaphone. The muffler I ultimately want to put on it is the Cone Engineering Quiet Core, but this'll hold me for a while.

I just picked up a Delkevic exhaust system for my GS1100. I paid $ 294.95 and was happy about the price.  It did include shipping.  $147.48  is a bargain!

Is it safe to assume that the exhaust header positioning were different on the 77-78 models vs the 69-76? or is the actual OD/ID different? if it's the former can you still mcgyver them to fit?

The 77-78k (and all F) models did not use the exhaust spigots, but connected the pipes directly into the head with the studs. So in order to use this system on the later bike you'd need 4 spigots from an earlier K. Other than that, the passenger peg mount is in a different location, so fitting the muffler with the included mounting brackets might be tricky. Delkevic DO make a version that fits F and late model SOHC K bikes though.
