Good idea starting a thread over there, Gene.   Seems like you found the parts fairly quick.

Is there an insurance claim on this?

Got paid by the insurance. Parts - man, that's a good bunch of people over there. A guy in L.A. sold me the forks cheap, threw in some other stuff for free from an 85 Nighthawk he had laying around. Got the left turn signal - in full with the sticker still on the lens - from one of the moderators for cheap.

Got a box full of headlamp and bucket for shipping from a guy in the S.F. area. Rebuilt on the cheap but quality stuff. I couldn't be happier. I left the forum when I sold my 360 but this time I think I'll stick around when I sell the 450. I can be of a little help and they're good ppl.

Good to hear.   I don't own a twin and haven't been on that forum much, but a lot of guys here say it is a good one.  You've proved it...
