Topic: CB550 with gl1000 front rim

I was wanting to get some high shoulder aluminum rims and was thinking the gl1000 front rim would work for my front rim/tire.  Does anybody know if this size of tire would fit on it?  100/90x19? or what the correct tire size would be?

Yep, that tire should fit on the GL1000 rim. They are both 19" rims, and are old school rims, probably a WM3 front, but can't say for sure on rim width.

3.25×19 is the stock size tire. The metric equivalent is between 90/90 and 100/90. I ran 100/90 on my wire wheel GL1000 and the same size on both of my 550's

I'm going to be swapping my hoops with a set of gl1000's one of these days as well. I already have the gl donor wheels. Good info.
