Fork legs. Need an in betweener lenght
« on: November 25, 2017, 06:38:17 AM »
FRONT fork & triple dilemma:  Can anyone think of bike with a front end that has the width of a GSXR front end but is somewhere in between a GXSR & modern CRF 250/400 in overall length?  Working on a ridiculous XR600R flat tracker project and the CRF front end I had planned on using is just a bit too narrow to fit the gigantic 140 flat track tire I need to shove in there.  A GXSR front end has the room to spare but is about 2" lower than I'd like it to be.

Any ideas?  There's got to be a front end out there that might fit the bill.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Somewhere out there is a database on front ends. I can't remember where I saw it. Dang.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
