650 rod length

Since there has been several 650 engine's hatching, I wonder if anyone could give me the rod length? That is center to center (small end to parting line of big end)

115mm center to center using my tape measure. If anybody knows were I put my vernier gauge after using it on sunday, please let me know. As a side note, don't grow old. fark, they're in the garage. where else would they be. fark

for what it's worth 2005-2006 gsxr1000 forged H beam rods are identical dimensions for bearings, pins, and length. guess what I have going in my 650 hybrid ? :-D

Sinister, yes thanks, the 2005/6 model use 112.5mm long rods, the 2008 uses 111.5mm. Do you know if both those series of model years use 15mm pins? I'm struggling to find everything I need to know on these rod lengths.

EDIT; now I see the 2009 used 112.5.

I don't know enough about those GSXR1000 model year engine changes.

not sure passed the 2005-06 years on pin diameter but mine are def 15mm. I believe I originally got this information from the great SooS.

650 donors are pretty cheap compared to 550 models.  If you were in the Seattle area, I'd point you to a very cheap one.
