I also had a whole build thread disappear but the thread could have just been #$%*  ::) I saw that the website was down last night so they could have backed up the site from a few weeks or a month prior.

Not the exact slack, but the Honda procedure how to measure it. 65 mm new chains, mine had 67.5. New CCC chains a little bit less than 65 mm.

Got my 72 link chains today. Think relying on the existing swage is ok when pressing the pin out and back in. Not sure how much the holes in the plates would plastically deform (probably not much). Or, should additional swage be applied after pressing the old pin back in, or perhaps new pins made that can be swaged after installation?

I pressed out the pins to remove the 4 extra links, pressed back togheter and mushroomed the end of the pins with a center punch. So far so good in my turbo-powered engine. :-)
