Terry's big wish for mankind.......................... 8-)
« on: January 02, 2007, 03:20:54 PM »
Terry was riding his evil K1 "Power-Kruiser" along St Kilda Esplanade, searching for modern bikes to whup, when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the
Good Lord said, "G'Day Tezza maaaate, because you have TRIED to be faithful to me in all ways, I
will grant you one wish."

Terry pulled over and said, "Cool, your hugeness, how about you build a bridge to Tasmania or New Zealand so I can ride over there anytime I want?"

The Lord said, "Fair go mate, your request is materialistic, think of the enormous
challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required to reach
the bottom of the Ocean, and the concrete and steel it would take! It
will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it but it is
hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little
more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind."

Terry thought about it for a long time. Finally, he said, "Geez Lord, fair enough then, I now
wish that I and all men could understand our wives; I want to know how
she feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent
treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says 'nothing's fuucking wrong ya big drongo',
and how I can make my woman truly happy??"

The Lord replied, "Righto then Tezza, so do you want two lanes or four on that bridge?  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Well a "Drongo" is a terrible thing to be called mate, probably worse than a "Mullet", but not as bad as a "Turd-Burglar". I'm coming to America later this year, and if you're interested, I will be running workshops on Aussie Culture at a bar near you! You're welcome to attend of course, and admission has been set at one round of drinks! Cheers, Terry. ;D

At our current point in time 7 years into the 21st Century I think we should despense with using hurtful terms such as :

Rump Wrangler
Colon Cowboy
Fudge Packer
Pole Sitter
Brown Hatter
D**k Smoker
Pansy
Nancy

Well my geography is a reasonably weak point, but I figure that I'll head for CA first, then in no particular order: Oregon, Texas, Las Vegas, New York and Boston, but I'm only gonna be allowed off the chain for a couple of weeks max, so maybe we can organise an SOHC4 international jambouree so's I can catch up with most of you guys? Just remember to repeat this important Aussie phrase, "Put yer wallet away mate, it's my fuggin shout"! Cheers, Terry. ;D

That is some mix:

Cali is fine. San Francisco is interesting. LA is too spread out.

In Oregon you can practice Lumber jacking. Just stay drunk and you will forget where you are.

Texas will make you feel like you never left OZ.

Vegas will disorient you, but it is worth it. (If she wants $100, she does not really love you)

New York is New York and it is what you make of it.

You may never want to leave Boston. I spent 3 days a week there all summer and will be doing that again in the spring.

I think it may have something to do with it being the brewing capitol of the US, but I would not want to infer that without having more facts.

You have to remember the rest of the world sneers at the quality of U.S. beers.  I imagine not too many foreign tourists are making pilgrimages to Milwaukee because of what is brewed there.  Anyway, have you ridden a recent Harley?  You might be surprised.

hey ofreen, if we're not allowed to make ignorant blanket statements about harleys, we may just have to about other things.  i say harley be damned.  "see no evo, speak no evo,  hear no evo, ride no evo" right?
although i would take a free one- just so i cold make fun of it at home...
