Dave, does it not have an attachment that allows you to turn the cutting part through 90 degrees so that you don't need ladders to cut the top ?

Nothing for myself but my son bought a house this summer with a super nice large detached heated garage man cave. I have been getting him some much needed tools for it. For Christmas I got him a nice new large upright air compressor and hoses, fitting etc which every shop should have around. Bad thing is it is better then the one in my shop !  ::)  ;D ;D
And Vfour please do tell us about those Russian twins, did they help you load up a bike or something ?  ;)   ;D

Dangit, I can't move the pic so here's the link. It has progressive shocks on it now and waiting for an instrument light harness from Z1. I put on the emblems, seat cover, gs1100e swingarm, tires, battery, pods, lol, and a $700 tune-up/valve set/carb tune at a race shop. (never go when work is slow) and I had to raise the needles a notch when I got it home.

That's magnificent Dave, I bought the same pole saw 3 years ago and have only used it once, but it worked fine. I've got a Conifer that is probably 40 feet high only a few feet from the back of my house, and as much as it provides great shade, I kind of wish it wasn't there.

Anyway, there was one branch growing across that was rubbing on the roof of my house, so I used the pole saw to chop it off rather than climb up a ladder with my massive 118cc McCulloch chainsaw, and was able to knock that branch and a couple more down pretty quickly.

I haven't bought myself a Christmas present yet, but like Kev, I think I'll buy new Chinese bodywork for my 2006 VTR1000F, I've gone off the idea of running a naked bike, so I'll clean it up and sell it, and hopefully get enough to buy my mate Pete's old Suzy GS1000.  Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

This was a year later Dave, not the best of pictures as there is a join making the ornamental gate and hedge distorted.

A slightly sordid transaction in Frikken Saudi Arabia of all places. I was able to put them up for a night in a room in the airport hotel in Riyadh, they however sought to monetise the situation. As the man said, I was halfway there.

I did not get a Christmas card from either of them.

New Xmas seat installed. Also xmas tail light and blinkers. The light is just mocked up on my shortened fender. The seat isnt very stylish but I wanted something more practical for two up riding. Bob
