Fitting Dyna 2000
« on: January 02, 2007, 11:16:24 pm »
Is the Dyna 2000, (the one that you can re-program) on the Dyna site able to fit the SOHC 750 motor or is this just for the DOHC models? I know MRiek has one on his 750. I have sent them an email but don't get a repy.
The reason I ask is I actually want to fit this to a CB400F. I do know the points plate is the same size 400 to 750 but I am not sure if the advancer mech is the same? although the dyna probably uses a new unit? Can anybody tell me if I could make the dyna 2000 work on my 400F.
I did a search and found previous topics on fitting to a SOHC but didn't find a conclusion.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, I must have missed that email ??? Anyway the 750 advance unit is removed for the 2000 as all curves are digital. I can post some pics of the mounted unit and give some measurements in a day or so.
