Hi,

I raced a Honda 750 with great success for 20 years in the North West.  I do not do much on Internet forums but have lurked here before.  As an FYI I am selling my Rickman framed 750 in the Mecum Auction in Vegas on Friday the 26th.  This bike has everything but I liked my old one better.

This is our old bike in one of the iterations.  It usually has a fairing on it.  This was taken after a race season (15 races) so it was ready for a tear down and re-build.  I think I crashed the fairing off of it.

What's the story on the transmission? I've never seen a side cover like that on a 750.

AHRMA at Millers 3 or so years back?

What kinda guts does the Rickman have?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I Let Patrick Leyshock borrow it for a season.  He rode it at Miller, if I remember right he put it on the podium.  I always went to the WERA race at Miller because they run the outer course.

As far as power they both make around 85-90 at the rear wheel.  The Rickman has everything, Nova gear box, full Ceriani GP front end, head welded up and punched straight through, yada, yada, yada.  The problem is the Rickman is more of a GP framed bike and I am not a GP framed guy. Also the Rickman just begs for a JE 736 kit to go with the head, I bet it would make 100+Hp.  Of course I raced the other 750 for over 20 seasons so I feel more at home on it.

I just cut down the stock transmission cover to facilitate easy gear changes.
