Cb350f top speed

After completely rebuilding my bike I and curious as to what is the expected top speed
I recond my engine set valves set the point and timing and the tuning is now somewhere near
I have tan spark plugs at idle and full throttle,and I have 150 psi compression on all cylinders
I have seen Honda specs saying that the top speed is around 98 mph but can acheive about 80 to 85 mph which is probably about 8k rpm in 5th gear,is the claimed top speed correct or optimistic

i'm also a scooter head  ;D

and I also have a 350F

pushed mine, reasonably stock except for the exhaust, to ~125 kms/hr, so far.

Factory claim of 98mph is optimistic. Mine cruises easily at 75, will do 80, can push it to 85 but I wouldn't really want to push it past that in terms of stressing a 45-year-old engine. Maybe 98 with a tailwind and down a hill? There was another recent discussion on this here, with more replies (including the caveat that speedos aren't particularly accurate).

To achieve it, however, you'll need gardening gloves and a leopard print shirt.
