When I came across this build, previously, I said I was going to be following this closely, as it was quite interesting and I wanted to see how it was going to come out. But then "Life" got in the way and next thing I knew, after all that I had going on, things that popped up and all, I just came to realize that I'd lost track of this build and got way behind. So, I just spent a good amount of time, today, catching up. And all I Can say is, WOW, I am REALLY liking where this is going and, baring any further distractions around here, big enough to dislodge me again, I'm here to follow this one the rest of the way, to completion. Fantastic Job, btw & the attention to detail is really amazing.  8) ;)

Would adding another mount point for the rear engine mounts to the vertical tube help triangulate the motor making it a little more rigidly mounted as well as not stressing the front mounts and further reducing chassis flex.

How much more will the microsquirt tap into on unused power over a stock 500 motor?

Bike is coming along well!  I will say that with all the work you have done, she needs a custom seat to go with it.  What are you thinking on paint?

Thanks guys. I've been to busy to do much lately, and i added another project which is bigger than this one as well. I am hoping to make some progress in a month or so. As for your questions:

There are 2 rear mounting points, i just didnt bolt the plates on for the second in photos.

No microsquirt, all honda cb500x parts.

Colors are silver frame, black motor, and unsure about tank just yet.
