Is there an easy way to build a stockpile of these? Like, standard size o-rings, cotter pins, sets of gaskets etc?

Also, what is the "etc"?

etc is the bit made of unobtanium. Gaskets, buy a kit when rebuilding, they usually include o-rings ( some aren't sized correctly) cotter pins ? if somethings badly worn or broken, replace/ rebuild/' come up with a fix.

trouble is Honda and other brands just don't use the standard metric sizes,theyll use some oddball like 13.7mm not quite a square 14mm for sizes,you can get by with the rounded up sises in the larger sizers,they don't quite equate to imperial either,the reason is ya gotta buy genuine,the savvy amoung you now can spot ive spelled sizes and sises and sizers,thats just to check your all paying attention to detail!

There are seal sets out there - I think from Canada - on eBay, they're fine. no recommendation for gasket sets but make sure your O-rings are Viton, not rubber out of a plumbing kit. You'd be amazed what you can find at a smallish True-Value. Bolts, O-rings, all sorts of stuff.

I have put together a pretty good stash of O-rings through McMasterCarr they have almost all the sizes with a few minor roundings. all worked good through my rebuild.

I have found Vesrah gasket sets to be the best but still tend to leave out odd O-rings

There's enough different sizes that I can usually find one that will work, except for those specialty rings and the large diameter ones that honda uses and they are nitrile so they can be used around gas. There's enough different sizes to have this set pay for itself pretty quickly.

I do try to replace o-rings whenever possible, same with seals that aren't easily accessible.
