There is a 1984 CB650 listed on the local CL for a very reasonable price of $700, about 17k, bike looks to be in good shape (have only seen photos). Seller states bike runs well. Any feedback on a DOHC 4 banger? TIA, Jim

Any full size motorcycle (which is 500cc and above to my mind) that is a titled ready to ride bike should be worth $700. I don't think there are any particular negatives associated with the DOHC 650's. It isn't anything collectible like the similar vintage 700SC Nighthawk S would be, but it should be a fine bike to own and ride.

Personally (as an owner of one) I'd run screaming if it WAS an Nighthawk 700sc.  ;D
