CB350F - can you help to evaluate % of originality
« on: January 12, 2018, 01:50:48 PM »
Dears
I have opportunity to buy this CB350 four, 1973.
Can you please give me your opinion based on these pictures what is not stock on the bike?
Paint should be original.

I already identified:
- exhaust (this is obvious)
- forks covers and front light brackets shall be in color (same like tank & side covers - no sure)
- rear shock bottoms should not be in color, but in chrome?
- tail light holder should be in chrome, also horn?

Anything else that catch your eye?

Or any other things I should check before buy?

Don't think that is factory matching paint. Should be more metallic and darker red.

I was thinking it was a repaint too but maybe my display was a bit off.
