Seat Upholstery

So I went to a reputable here in San Diego for a quote to cover my seat pan for the Highway Racer. I was quoted $250-300. That seems a little high for vinyl, foam, and stitching... I had guessed about $150.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good shop in the SoCal/San Diego area? Do any members here do it? Hmm... maybe I should take a trip to Tijuana and have it done.

Hey Joe...$250 does seem high, IIRC I paid $150 for the Park Racer's seat, I supplied the vinyl, that was cheap.

I found the guy on CL, he had auto experience but that was irrelevant.

A trip to Tijuana could be fun but I'm sure there is a guy local that could do it for you.

That's a little pricey especially for vinyl.  You'd pay those prices for Ginger at New Church Moto for a premium seat.

For what you're talking about, 150ish seems fair for good work. That's what I paid for mine. Take a road trip out here to Vegas and get your seat done!
