A Deutz tractor was the first vehicle I drove at the age of six, be it under supervision of the owner/farmer. Unfortunately the Search function is down. In the past I have written extensively about monitoring instruments including VDO gauges that had a programmable threshold. Ideal.

mine Deutz vas a d-15...it had a kontra balance shaft to give a softer run of the 750cc 1 cyll aircooled engine..the erlyer model you have on  Photo..did not use that..the gearbox vas a fridrichhafen zahnrad fabrik fabrikat Z-F.. used in most germen fabrikated heavy mateiell..from tanks to buses..
later i got a 9006 tractor..it had a aksial blover for cooling..but the engine vas in prinsip the same as the small old one..later i thanged to ih 1455 germany made ih tractors the best tractors ever made....but that is off topic...
