Yes I’d did, pardon me. It was late for me, and I’m strung out tired  :-[

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

I did bake them in the kitchen. My wife was out running errands, so I opened up all the windows and ran a fan. It got a but fumey in the house but it mostly dissipated by the time she got home. I burned a piece of toast in the toaster to cover up any remaining smell before she got home. I'm pretty satisfied with how they came out. I'm going to get the tires mounted on Tuesday. It's probably a bit soon for the paint, but I'm going to risk it. I just can't wait any longer to get that bike out on the road.

Tires were mounted today without a chip or scratch and they're back on the bike. I'm very happy with the result.

Thanks. I got it out for a bit, I had to take it for a vin check to get the title transferred. The line was too long to get it registered also, so I need to do that still before I can really ride it. Unfortunately, after that short ride, I had both a leaky fork seal asnd a broken Speedo cable, so I've got more work to do. It was 75 out today which is pretty rare for Feb in Ohio, so I got the bomber out for a bit too.

Great looking Desmodue.  I cringed and laughed about the burnt toast to hide the baked paint smell.

Haha. It was quite effective and the smell faded quickly. burned toast is far less offensive than paint.

Lol. That too. I don't think she would have cared about it going in there. I mentioned that I was thinking about it and she didnt say much. I have a pretty cool wife. She would not have been happy about a fumey house, though

I got started on the fork seals today. I don't have the proper tool for installing the seals and I couldn't get them popped in all the way. Out of fear of damaging them, I went ahead and ordered the tool. So I'm as far as just needing to reassemble them. While it was all apart, I wet sanded the front fender some with 1500 grit and then buffed asnd polished. I think it's better, but could be better still. The carbon is very thin. You can see right through it.
