wow, that GSXR looks great!

R100/7 just came in this morning at 6.00.

Like this one: just a few modifications (fender, seat, muffler, ...) give a completely different look.

You can spend a lot of money turning a BMW /7 into a café racer. That large tank is almost worth its weight in gold. Several years ago, I found a 1978 R100S in a "barn" and was thinking about café-ing it. Decided to leave it stock. Much better expense/value ratio.

nice bike Mike...Larry

Looks great, SGT. How does it run and ride?

I loved riding my buddies Beemer.  The thing I remember most is how "bottom heavy" it was, that feeling was new to me.  But it still got up and went!

Did´nt ride her yet. Will have to make her run and then have to go to the MOT.

Mounted the front fender correctly (180°) and cleaned her.

Did not yet manage to get that battary out  :( :(, Frame too narrow by a few mm. Maybe together with the battery case. Or thgrough the engine....

Looking for a set of side panels, ideal in black met.
Doc, I love a motorcycle!

Thank you sir!

Great choice! Love me some airhead action. My Ural has a boxer style motor....she has some grunt down low. Let us know how you like it once you take her for a spin.

I did enjoy my R100 RT most of the time.
A really cool feature is the balanced center stands, take either wheel off, and it sets down on the other wheel.. no blocking or dicking around..
